Our Glass

We source the cleanest raw glass in the world through Glasma, a Swedish manufacturer. Because Sweden has some of the strictest environmental regulations, higher quality and a lower footprint are guaranteed in a variety of ways. For example, we use pelletized glass which only needs to be melted once, instead of standard large glass nuggets which need to be melted twice. This means our glass uses half the energy to create. We’re proud to bring these innovations right to Minneapolis, where we locally manufacture everything.

Always keeping an eye on innovation, we asked Glasma CEO Martin Andersson about the future of sustainability in glass. We can’t wait to see electrical, well-insulated furnaces, currently being developed in Sweden to maximize efficiency in the future.

Using pure materials also allows you to participate in a more circular lifecycle for your glass. We’ve thought steps ahead at what the future might hold for each piece. If you break it, we can simply melt the same glass into a new piece for you. Or if you’re looking to spice things up with a little variety, our fixtures are interchangeable. Not only can you mix and match anything you can imagine, but you can also rest assured that the unwanted materials will be reused instead of thrown away
